Questions

I placed an advert but I did not see it while logged on to Facebook, why?
As of today, there are more than 2000 Nigerian adverts currently active on Facebook yet only 4 can be shown to a user at any given time thus the probability that you will see your advert while logged in is 1 in 500. Facebook uses a very complex algorithm to determine which 4 adverts are shown to a user at a particular time therefore, there is a strong likelihood that you will not see your advert while on Facebook.

How do I track my advert performance by myself?
The best way for you to track your advert is to install a tracking script on your website and monitor the traffic sources. A good tracking script can be found here. We can also generate a report for you at the end of an advert’s run but this may attract a surcharge depending on the package.

How many clicks?
The number of clicks or other desired response that you will get per impression depends on the kind of advert and the target market size. Some adverts do better than others because of these and many other factors. Generally, the effectiveness of an advert reduces over time as more and more people see the advert on facebook and the target market moves towards saturation. This leads to diminishing clicks or phone calls/texts (if you include your number in the ad).
